Description
Gladiator: Sword Of Vengeance takes you back in time, to the ancient days of Rome -- here, you'll be chosen by the Gods to restore the glory of the Empire. It is 106AD, and the Roman Empire is in terrible decline. Emperor Arruntius has brought once-powerful Rome to its knees; badly fought wars, famine and plague are part of daily life now. To keep the citizens' mind off their misery, Arruntius plans the most elaborate bloodsports ever witnessed. You'll begin here as a slave, fighting in the gladiator pits -- where you'll start a revolution and challenge the Emperor himself.
