Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer that can be simply defined as a malignancy occurs in the mesothelial layer. The mesothelium is the protective tissue that contained as a layer on the outer surface of the body's vital organs including the lungs, heart and stomach. There are three main types of mesothelioma in the human body that include epithelioid type, sarcomatoid type and mixed or biphasic type. Mesotheliomas also grouped based on the network or location.
